Our mission is to embody the love and service of Jesus by providing support to those in need within our church family and inspiring a culture of service among our members.
1 Peter 4:10
“Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of the varied grace of God.”
How We Care:
The Care Team Ministry supports our church family by easing burdens such as illness, surgery, disasters, or other challenging life circumstances. We care in practical ways, including delivering meals, providing transportation to church, hands-on help such as minor home repairs or lawn care, and connecting those in need with helpful community resources. We also provide families handmade baby blankets to celebrate the arrival of newborns.
Serve with the Care Team
Our volunteers are notified as a need arises, but there is no obligation to accept every opportunity. Whether you have a few hours to give or simply a desire to help when the opportunity arises, there is a place for you to serve. If you would like to learn more about the Care Team, email care@fellowshiplh.com.
Do You Have a Heart for the Homebound?
The Care Team partners with the Hearts at Home ministry to help our homebound members stay connected to their church family. Volunteers provide encouragement and connection through cards and letters, phone calls, personal visits, and mailing church bulletins.
